Senior Manager, Lending Product Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to lead our Lending Product Third-Party Risk team. As a trusted risk partner, you will proactively identify and mitigate risks across the supplier and non-supplier third-party lifecycle, ensuring our businesses can safely and confidently engage with third parties to achieve their strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Lending Product Third-Party Risk team, providing pragmatic and informed risk advice to contribute to the delivery of Home Buying and Consumer Finance strategic objectives.
- Represent the Centre of Excellence at relevant Third-Party Risk governance forums, leveraging data and expertise to provide actionable insights in key third-party risk focus areas.
- Assess and provide guidance on the outcomes of supplier control assurance activities, conducting quality assurance supplier site visits as required.
- Drive proactive and pragmatic risk outcomes that deliver value to stakeholders in Consumer Finance and Home Buying.
- Guide, coach, and lead junior members of the team, ensuring high-quality outcomes and championing the ongoing enhancement of risk capabilities within the team and across the Domain.
- Demonstrated experience working in the Third-Party Risk domain or with a strong focus on working with suppliers/third parties.
- Sound knowledge of operational and compliance risks within financial services.
- Strong reasoning and influencing skills to work with senior stakeholders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively.
- Ability to independently drive and deliver outcomes and initiatives in a fast-paced, shifting environment.
- Experience in leadership, coaching, and developing a team of junior team members.
