This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated building surveyor to lead a team and contribute to various projects, including cladding inspections, reports, and technical advice on special initiatives.
As a key figure in our organization, you will be responsible for managing a small team of technical experts and overseeing multiple tasks with high levels of responsibility.
To excel in this position, you must possess current registration as a building surveyor (unlimited) and advanced knowledge of building industry codes, regulations, standards, commercial building construction, fire safety, and construction practices in Australia.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in resource management, budget development, and performance planning, as well as coaching, feedback, and employee development.
- Strong adaptability to meet audience needs, build stakeholder relations through negotiation, liaison, and influence to achieve shared consensus or desired outcomes.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling provision of robust, defensible advice, ministerial briefings, and complex documentation.
