About the Role
The Employment Coach will be responsible for managing a caseload of customers with a prior offender history, with the objective of securing employment. This role will involve case management, focusing on improving customers' capacity to work by addressing non-vocational issues and developing vocational skills and experience.
The role will also involve 'reverse marketing' of customers to suitable employers and running group-based job search sessions to motivate and promote further job placements. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for recruitment and working with those in need, as well as the ability to meet individual targets and contribute to a strong site team.
This is a full-time, ongoing position based at Enfield, with a 9-day fortnight and a dedicated day off every second week. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and the opportunity to salary sacrifice.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- A passion and drive for helping people find employment;
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with customers, employers, and staff;
- The ability to assess, match, and refer customers to appropriate job opportunities and advocate directly to employers;
- The ability to achieve individual targets and work to clearly defined KPIs;
- A minimum typing speed of 30 WPM;
- Strong administration skills and IT literacy, including data entry and typing skills, Word, Excel, and Outlook experience;
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure;
- Previous experience in the employment services or call centre industry or similar.
You will also be required to have a minimum Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development or a willingness to study, as well as experience in Employment Services or a related Service industry.

Remuneration
A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax-effective salary packaging.
