Senior Dentist Job Description

As a Senior Dentist, you will play a vital role in creating pathways to better health for North West communities. You will work at North West Hospital and Health Service, contributing to our vision of delivering exceptional healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide frontline clinical leadership to oral health services facilities and dental teams.
  • Carry out advanced level, efficient, high quality clinical dental treatment to eligible patients, managing, treating, and preventing dental disease, including prosthetic services, for both adult and pediatric patients in fixed and mobile facilities throughout the region.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary degree qualification in Dentistry and current registration with the Dental Board of Australia (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency - AHPRA) are mandatory requirements.
  • Extensive clinical experience is highly valued.
  • A Class Motor Vehicle Licence is required.
  • Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
  • This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.

  • No base salary information available; however, you will receive a range of benefits including 4 weeks p.a. recreational leave + 17.5% loading, 12.75% employer superannuation contribution, Rural and Remote incentive - Zone 3 - 32% allowance of base salary, accommodation assistance, tax savings through salary sacrificing options, transfer and appointment expenses may be negotiated.
