Job Description:

This role offers an opportunity to work in a leading public hospital, collaborating with an integrated mental health service, alcohol, tobacco, and other drug services team, and a homeless health outreach team to ensure that patients receive appropriate and culturally safe care.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing care to individuals living with mental health and associated substance use disorders
  • Offering clinical leadership to a multi-disciplinary team
  • Overseeing and reviewing clinical governance
  • Contributing to the education and training of junior medical staff, medical students, mental health clinicians, other health professionals, and key stakeholders

  • Strong communication skills and cultural awareness
  • Commitment to respectful and inclusive care
  • Able to work closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
