Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Community Engagement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining effective partnerships with local churches and communities.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in theology, religious education or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and community development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
  • Administrative ability and proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

  1. Developing and growing partnerships with local churches and communities.
  2. Leading the Church & Community Engagement Working Group to enhance local church and community connections.
  3. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop spiritual wellbeing products and services for local churches and communities.
  4. Actively building and maintaining strong relationships with managers and employees across the service areas.
  5. Establishing networks across other organizations in the community and aged care sector.
