About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at National Aluminium in Dandenong South. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in driving productivity and learning new skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a variety of manufacturing duties, including machine operation, working to a production schedule, and manufacturing quality products in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. You will also be responsible for inspecting products for their quality and ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.

About the Shifts

The shifts for this role will be Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, with various shifts available. The day shift will run from 7:00am to 3:00pm, while the afternoon shift will run from 3:00pm to 11:00pm with a 15% loading.

About You - Skills & Experience

We are looking for a proactive, punctual, and reliable individual with prior experience working in a manufacturing environment. You will be able to take instruction and follow through on tasks, approach every task positively, and demonstrate a commitment to safe work practices. You will also be able to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively, and be willing to learn and grow into a more senior role in due time.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $24.80, plus 25% casual loading, opportunities for overtime, on-the-job training, job security, and opportunities for development and career growth within the National Aluminium Group.
