
Medical Services Coordinator

The role of Medical Receptionist/Customer Service Officer requires a professional who can provide exceptional client service and support to our medical consultants and external clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality business services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating scheduling requirements and changes to maximise the booking rate of available consultant appointments
- Liaising with clients to implement the provision of agreed services to meet client requirements, in accordance with consultant scheduling, client service agreements and organisational processes
- Assisting in the preparation of medical files to ensure that scheduled appointments can be completed effectively by the consultant practitioner
- Providing administrative support to the consultant practitioner to support the effective delivery of their services
- Providing information and advice to clients or prospective clients to ensure that an effective client relationship is developed and maintained
- Coordinating the preparation, production and release of consultant practitioner reports with individual consultants and teams, in accordance with organisational procedures and quality standards
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and within a team environment. You will also need to have strong prioritisation skills and the ability to maintain a flexibility to operate in an environment of change and continuous improvement.
- A personal approach which is positive, enthusiastic, friendly and helpful
- Experience in understanding case management practices relating to independent medical reports would be beneficial but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent client service to both internal and external clients
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a group environment
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong prioritisation skills while maintaining a flexibility to operate in an environment of change and continuous improvement
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
