Job Title

A skilled midwife is sought after to join a dynamic team in the Aboriginal Maternal Infant Health Services and Primary & Community Health.

  • Position Classification: Registered Midwife
  • Remuneration: $72,152.53 – $101,299.48 pa (+ superannuation + salary packaging options)

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing antenatal advice, helping parents prepare for birth, and attending to postnatal needs in homes for the first 10 days after birth. This role offers the chance to broaden your skills, develop professionally, and make a meaningful impact in rural health.

  • Support new mothers with parenting, infant feeding, settling, sleep, and related topics based on their needs and aspirations.
  • Build relationships, provide information, and support women and their babies in the district.

Benefits

This role offers a range of incentives including:

  • Up to $20,000 sign-on bonus for those relocating from metro, interstate, or international locations (evidence required).
  • Retention incentives of up to $10,000 after 12 months of service.
