Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team as a Support Specialist in one of our Intensive Therapeutic Care homes. In this role, you will work closely with clinical and casework staff to help children and young people build resilience and navigate complex emotions.
You will encourage participation in education and hobbies, and support them in building their confidence to achieve goals.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with clinical and casework staff to develop and implement individualised plans for each child or young person.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to help children and young people manage their emotions and behaviours.
- Encourage participation in education and hobbies to promote social and emotional development.
- Support children and young people in achieving their goals and developing life skills.
- Diploma in Community Services or Diploma in Disabilities (or working towards).
- A current Working with Children Check/Working with Vulnerable People card, First Aid Certificate, and Drivers Licence.

We offer competitive salary and benefits packages, including:
$60,000 - $70,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus superannuation.
