About This Opportunity

Our organization is seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team in Dubbo, Orange NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for providing goal-oriented, time-limited, and therapy-focused care to empower older adults to thrive in the comfort of their own homes.

The Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP) offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans that promote safety, independence, and dignity.

This position offers significant challenges and opportunities for growth and development in a changing aged care environment impacted by growing patient populations and health reforms.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement individualized care plans to support patients' goals and outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with the TACP team, Allied Health Team Leader, and TACP Manager to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
