About the Role

As a Quality Management and Assurance Lead at TAFE NSW, you will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end Quality and Assurance Management processes. This includes quality management, quality assurance, and test management activities across platforms and programs to reduce development defects and maintain quality standards in support of the objectives of the TAFE NSW digital transformation strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage technical teams, including coaching and mentoring team members.
  • Foster an agile team environment that is collaborative and champions operational excellence in customer support through continuous improvement.
  • Partner with senior business and Systems Group stakeholders to understand underlying problems and opportunities and apply thought leadership and technical expertise to devise solutions.
  • Develop and implement risk-based approaches to quality management, assurance, and testing.
  • Ensure compliance with software development and Dev Sec Ops best practices.
  • Manage different types of testing required in digital delivery.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD workflow and test automation.
Requirements
  • Degree qualification in a related field or equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience.
  • Understanding and demonstrated application of risk-based approaches to quality management, assurance, and testing.
  • Excellent understanding of software development and Dev Sec Ops best practices.
  • Wide experience in different types of testing required in digital delivery.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD workflow and test automation.
