We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Partner to join our Group Strategy team. As a key member of our team, you will play a central role in supporting our Strategy Managers and Head of Group Strategy to design and deliver Coles' strategy.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing fact-based insight to assist the development and delivery of key business strategies and corporate plans
- Conducting analysis and structured problem-solving to develop and articulate initiatives and key success metrics on key strategic issues
- Working collaboratively with key stakeholders in the business as a strategic thought partner and driver of execution against strategic initiatives
- Making a positive contribution to the development of the culture and capability of the Group Strategy team
About You
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience working with complex analytical problem-solving, experience writing or contributing to board-level presentations and reports, as well as presenting those findings to senior business stakeholders.
You will also have:
- Proven experience in management consulting, investment banking, product strategy, or retail strategy
- Proven experience in complex analytical problem-solving (e.g., hypothesis-based problem-solving)
- A high level of proficiency using relevant tools and techniques (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel)
- Previous experience in managing work-streams within projects
- Experience in writing or contributing to board-level presentations and reports
- Experience in presenting to senior stakeholders
- Previous experience in working with cross-functional business units
- Ability to work in a high-performance team environment
