Senior Sourcing Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sourcing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will play a critical role in developing and executing category plans aligned with our sourcing strategy.

Your Role

  • Category Leadership: Develop and execute 1–3 year category plans that drive business outcomes and meet customer needs.
  • Market Expertise: Analyze industry trends, risks, and opportunities to inform category strategies and ensure long-term sustainability.
  • Supplier Management: Build strong supplier partnerships, lead negotiations, and oversee supplier performance to deliver cost savings and quality improvements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes and drive growth.
  • Cost Optimisation: Drive cost reductions and manage category spend to achieve financial goals.
  • Compliance & Sustainability: Ensure regulatory requirements are met and sustainability goals are achieved while enhancing packaging, quality, and customer experience.
  • Innovation & Growth: Scout, onboard, and commercialize new suppliers and products to support growth objectives.

This Is You

  • Tertiary qualified in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and/or Business Administration.
  • 5–7 years' experience in procurement or sourcing, ideally within Manufacturing, Retail, or FMCG.
  • Proven expertise in food ingredient procurement (Dry Goods, Grocery, Food Service).
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to 'read' the market.
  • Familiarity with supplier management tools (e.g. ERP, Foods Connected).
  • Professional accreditation (e.g. CIPS) is a plus.
