About the Role
The Petspiration Group Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Administrator to join our team at our Ballarat Support Office. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the administration and monitoring of the daily safety 'in-box', escalating urgent matters in line with WHS processes and compliance.
- Support the IM Team Leader and key stakeholders to coordinate the end-to-end workers injury claims process, ensuring timely communication with team members, customers, insurers, and payroll.
- Support team members through Return-to-Work processes, communicating alternative duties to reduce loss time injuries (LTI) as far as reasonably practicably.
- Support team members in Non Work Related Injuries - Return to Work Process and early intervention process.
- Assisting with the review and monitoring of all incident reports, collaborating with the IM Team Leader and Safety Team to address issues.
- Identifying and resolving WHS issues, hazards, and risks.
- Work with the WHS Manager in implementing agreed WHS strategies.
- Working alongside the team to review and improve the Work Health and Safety Management System.
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual WHS reports.
About You
We are looking for an individual with experience in a retail environment, preferably with a proven ability to assist with administrative tasks, manage time effectively, and handle multiple responsibilities. You will possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, as well as a customer-centric approach with a strong attention to detail.
Requirements
- Experience in a retail environment is preferable but not essential.
