Emergency Department Support Assistant

About this role
We are seeking a skilled and organised individual to join our team in the emergency department.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional organisational and prioritisation capabilities, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
Responsibilities include:
- Patient Transport: Safely moving patients to and from emergency
- Operational Support: Assisting in the smooth operation of the emergency department, including setup, patient positioning, and ensuring clinical stores and supplies are well stocked
- Environmental Care: Managing waste and soiled linen disposal efficiently
- Ward Support: Providing timely assistance to various wards as required
- Mentorship: Offering guidance and support to new members of the orderly team
