Lead a High-Performing Inside Sales Team
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven leader to manage our inside sales team. As an Inside Sales Manager, you will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and leading a motivated team of sales development representatives (SDRs) to meet and exceed pipeline generation and sales objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and managing high-performing inside sales teams within the high-tech or enterprise IT industry. They will possess strong leadership skills, the ability to inspire and motivate others, and a deep understanding of sales methodologies and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing SDR team to drive pipeline growth and sales revenue.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies, processes, and tactics to achieve business objectives.
Mentor and coach SDRs to improve their sales skills and performance.
Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and sales leadership, to design and execute campaigns that drive engagement and qualified pipeline.
Establish clear priorities and strategic direction, ensuring alignment across the team and continuous improvement in process and productivity.
Monitor and measure team performance, analyzing outreach activity, lead conversion, and pipeline contribution metrics; implement improvements as needed.
Foster a positive, high-performance environment that embodies our company's values and customer-first approach.
Requirements:
8+ years of inside sales management or team lead experience within the high-tech or enterprise IT industry.
Demonstrated success in building, managing, and scaling high-performing inside sales or SDR teams.
A proven sales track record, either in an inside sales or field sales capacity.
Strong familiarity with sales methodologies, tools, and technologies, including Salesforce, Outreach/InsideSales.com, ZoomInfo/Discover.org, etc.
Knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure—storage, virtualization, cloud, or data management—is strongly preferred.
Experience collaborating with channel sales teams and/or field sales on joint pipeline generation strategies.
Experience in field closing or managing pipeline across longer, complex sales cycles is a plus.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and lead others effectively.
