We are seeking a Trade Support Associate to join our dynamic team driving growth in Securities Finance Operations.

About the Role
  • This position will support our Discretionary Securities Lending businesses, leveraging expertise and collaborating with global teams to expand operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational support for the Securities Lending and Cash Reinvestment Trading desks, monitoring client sales, and ensuring adequate inventory for settlement.

Liaising directly with counterparties and agent banks, this role will also involve recalling or swapping positions for proxy events, buffer management, equity rebalances, and client transitions.

The Trade Support Associate will be responsible for monitoring Securities Lending trades to ensure settlement, processing and monitoring Reinvestment Desk trades to ensure settlement, and ensuring sufficient collateral is maintained at all times for the stock on loan in our Discretionary program.

Additionally, this role will provide metrics and associated commentary to senior operations managers, train and develop junior staff, and drive changes to the control and automation agendas.

Requirements
  • At least two years of experience in Securities Lending, Collateral Management, Settlements, or Trade Support.
  • Solid knowledge of Global Financial Markets.
  • Proven track record in a dynamic operations environment.
  • History of process improvements.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel.
  • Exposure to digital tools like Alteryx, Xceptor, Tableau, and Python.
  • Understanding of custodian workflows.
  • Strong controls focus.
