Sustainability Leadership RoleJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and results-driven Senior Sustainability Engineer to lead our initiatives and shape meaningful outcomes for clients. This role involves delivering project sustainability services, conducting technical analyses, and supporting business growth through thought leadership and industry involvement.Key Responsibilities• Deliver sustainability consulting services for various building projects • Oversee report preparation including Green Star, WELL, NABERS, NatHERS, and Climate Active submissions • Conduct life-cycle analysis, energy, thermal, daylight, and carbon modeling • Undertake NCC Section J compliance reviews and support project documentation • Collaborate with industry bodies, councils, and accreditation authorities • Support business growth by mentoring staff and advancing sustainability practices internally • Engage in business development and marketing initiatives, focusing on expanding ESD team capabilities and strengthening the service offering within the industry.Required Skills and Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Sustainable Design, or related field • 5-10 years of experience in ESD consulting, with at least 4 years in Australia • RPEQ certification or willingness to obtain, with experience certifying sustainability work • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing • Excellent project management and leadership abilities • Accreditations in Green Star, NABERS, WELL, Climate Active, or similar • Technical expertise in building physics and sustainable design principles • Experience with thermal/energy modeling software and sustainability frameworks (e.g., ISC, ESG, GRI) • Understanding of Australian carbon reporting (e.g., NGER), climate risk, and adaptation planning.BenefitsOur office is located in a modern inner-city setting with excellent amenities, providing a vibrant and inclusive work environment.
