Job Description

As a Principal Hydrogeologist, you will play a pivotal role in leading groundwater projects, offering expert guidance on hydrogeological assessments, water resource management, and environmental impact evaluations.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, oversee data collection and analysis, and provide strategic advice to clients on groundwater sustainability and regulatory compliance. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys guiding junior staff, can prioritize tasks and find innovative solutions to help address technical or project challenges, and thrives on delivering great technical work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership through the delivery of groundwater projects, supporting the growth and success of the groundwater team, contributing to business development activities, and demonstrating and delivering technically accurate groundwater data analysis and reporting.

This role involves working across a broad range of project types, from water/groundwater management plans, compliance reporting, trigger or water supply/security investigations, ecohydrological assessments, impact assessments and mine closure studies. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, with a people focus, thriving in a fun, friendly environment that values work-life balance, while delivering innovative, high-quality technical work.
