Video Infrastructure Leader

As a senior leader in the backend engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable video infrastructure and AI-powered services.

This role is ideal for an experienced technical leader who has a strong background in distributed systems, APIs, and infrastructure. You will be expected to coach and develop engineering talent, lead cross-functional teams, and drive user-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable video infrastructure and AI-powered services.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative editing tools for end users.
  • Develop and champion approaches to leveraging backend capabilities for AI/ML teams to perform exploratory R&D.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver powerful video creation tools and intuitive user experiences.

Requirements
  • Proven experience leading high-performing backend engineering teams.
  • Strong technical background in distributed systems, APIs, and infrastructure.
  • Ability to coach, develop, and grow engineering talent.
  • Strong system design expertise and familiarity with Java.
  • A product mindset — comfortable making trade-offs and driving user-centric solutions.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with Product, Design, and AI/ML teams.
