The role of Senior Psychologist at Metro South Health involves delivering high-quality clinical care to patients, contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives, and supporting optimal patient outcomes.
Your New ResponsibilitiesWorking as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert psychological services within the Adult Acute Psychiatric Unit at Princess Alexandra Hospital. Your key responsibilities include monitoring and reporting on clinical practices and outcomes, leading research and quality projects, and providing supervision and training to junior clinicians, students, and Allied Health Assistants.
About You- Deliver expert knowledge of best practices in allied health services.
- Be highly accountable and display a supportive and engaging style.
- Proven ability to manage complex clinical cases, including rapid prioritization, patient management, and discharge planning in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate strong clinical leadership with a positive, proactive mindset.
