About the Role

This entry-level laboratory technician position presents an exciting opportunity to develop sampling and testing skills, as well as gain hands-on experience in a state-of-the-art laboratory setting.

This position requires a Monday-to-Friday roster, reporting to the Supervisor - Laboratories WA. You will undertake compliance testing related to cement & lime manufacturing processes, including a wide range of testing, sample preparation, equipment calibration, and computer-based analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant scientific discipline and/or previous laboratory experience
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and the environment
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to apply initiative and work as part of a small team
  • Australian drivers' license
  • Forklift license would be highly regarded but not essential
