As a key member of our team, the Waste Collection Driver plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our community.

About the Role
  • Operate a modern waste compactor to empty kerbside presented glass bins and support the kerbside collection of residential general, recycling and organic waste as required.

This is a permanent, full-time position with an attractive remuneration package including applicable allowances plus statutory superannuation.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualifications and experience in waste management are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to champion, model and promote corporate values such as teamwork and customer service.
  • Proven ability to provide high quality work within time constraints and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Proven high level of skill and appropriate background in the application and use of waste collection vehicles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a positive member of a team and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Sound understanding of local government or transport works practices and regulations.
  • A Victorian Heavy Vehicle Licence (HR) is required, along with an exemplary driving record and demonstrated understanding and commitment to Fatigue Management.
