Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Patient Services Coordinator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for patients and visitors alike.

The Patient Services Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for patients, answering phone calls, checking patients in and out, and verifying patient demographics. They will also be responsible for collecting co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles, as well as scheduling patients according to clinic protocol.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate area
  • Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently
  • Verify and update patient demographics
  • Collect co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles
  • Schedule patients according to clinic protocol
  • Prepare charts and print encounter tickets prior to patient visit
  • Confirm appointments and document responses in EMR
  • Receive and upload laboratory, imaging, and other procedural results into the patient's e-chart
  • Reconcile the cash drawer as per CMP Business Office guidelines
  • Process inbound and/or outbound referrals

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least one year of experience in a healthcare-related field
  • Basic computer skills, effective communication skills, and willingness to travel to satellite clinics
