We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Regional Podiatrist to join our team at the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network. As a key member of our Allied and Community Health Service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality foot and ankle care to our community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive foot and ankle services to patients of all ages, including routine care, treatment of complex conditions, and health promotion activities.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional patient outcomes and advance overall foot health.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to the unique needs of our community.
- Mentor and guide allied health professionals, assistants, and students to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Must hold a recognized qualification within a relevant Allied Health profession and be eligible for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association.
- Advanced clinical skills and experience in foot and ankle care, with a strong focus on preventive and early intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- A supportive and welcoming team environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
- Access to continuing education and training, including contextual Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Training and links with Rural Support Service.
