Job Description

Job Title: Regional Podiatrist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Regional Podiatrist to join our team at the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network. As a Regional Podiatrist, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of foot and ankle services to our community, including routine foot care, diabetic foot complications, and sports injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a broad range of clinical services, including one-on-one, group, and health promotion activities.
  • Exercise professional judgment in the selection and adaptation of established methods, procedures, and techniques within the profession.
  • Manage and prioritize personal workload and support others in developing workload management plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a recognized qualification within a relevant Allied Health profession and be eligible for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association.
  • Experience in providing foot and ankle services, including routine foot care, diabetic foot complications, and sports injuries.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
