
Emergency Department Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse to join our dynamic team at Hornsby and Ku-ring-gai Hospital.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage emergency department patients with a wide range of presentations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy behaviors and self-care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse - Division 1 qualification.
- Minimum 12 months experience in acute care, preferably in emergency or critical care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Current clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
