Nurse in Emergency Medicine Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team in the Emergency Department at Hornsby and Ku-ring-gai Hospital.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. A strong commitment to continuing professional development and a passion for delivering excellence in nursing practice are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to adult and paediatric patients across a wide range of presentations, including trauma, surgical, medical and mental health cases.
- Work collaboratively with the emergency department team to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient interactions and interventions.
- Degree-qualified Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Recent Acute Care experience with a minimum of 12 months Registered Nurse experience.
- Effective interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
- Current clinical knowledge and problem-solving ability.
