About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Wellbeing Officer to lead our Meaningful Life program in one of our Care Communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop opportunities for meaningful engagement, purposeful participation, social events and activities for all residents
  • Drive Opal Health Care initiatives including Meaningful Mates and Helping Hands
  • Curate programs to support residents' physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing and overall quality of life
  • Develop resident care plans and complete key lifestyle assessments
  • Work together with clinical teams and allied health professions to provide a tailored approach for each resident to aid their mobility and independence
  • Coach care team members to deliver meaningful engagements between like-minded residents
  • Liaise with residents to develop activities and engagements that meet their cultural, spiritual, social and physical needs and preferences
  • Engage with residents' families to encourage visitation and socialisation
  • Demonstrate Person Centred Care principles approach
