About the Role

This role will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of our store, including sweeping and cleaning floors, emptying bins, and collecting trolleys from car parks and surrounding areas. As a member of our Proactive Services team, you will work closely with your colleagues to ensure that our stores meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the store, including sweeping and cleaning floors, emptying bins, and collecting trolleys from car parks and surrounding areas.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure that the store meets the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including cleaning machines and waste disposal systems.
  • Assist with tasks such as cleaning walls, bathrooms, and trolley bays, and emptying bins.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Physical fitness and the ability to stand for long periods and lift loads between 5-10kgs.
  • A good eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • The ability to work flexibly, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
