We are seeking a skilled professional to play a key role in the early contractor involvement in the design and development of major water infrastructure projects across South Australia.

About The Role

The selected candidate will have continuous project exposure, facilitating the further development of technical and project management skills. They will also have the opportunity to get exposure to tender bids and submissions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure cost-effective construction methodologies and identify improvement areas.
  • Track project finances, review costs vs. budget, and highlight margin impacts.
  • Early involvement in design and investigation kick-off meetings, ensuring development of schedules, planning, and risks have been covered off prior to submissions.
  • Prepare variations, claims, and subcontract agreements.
  • Assess risks, implement hazard controls, and support incident investigations.
  • Review environmental procedures before work begins.
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction/Project Management.
  • 4+ years of experience in Project Engineering in the Water, utilities, or transport spaces is highly desirable.
  • Ability to communicate and liaise effectively with people at all levels, and other stakeholders as required.
  • Strong in using Microsoft Office software and other relevant computer applications.
  • Pass a pre-employment medical and drug test.
