Product Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Product Manager to oversee the end-to-end product management of our medical indemnity insurance products. This role will report into a senior manager and be based in our Sydney CBD head office.

The ideal candidate will have experience in product management, preferably in the insurance or related fields. They will possess excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as strong change management experience.

About the Role
  • Design, implement, and manage existing and new products;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment across the organization;
  • IDentify competitiveness of products and recommend changes in line with the risk and governance framework;
  • Support the business in relation to products, including training and answering staff queries;
  • Act as a subject matter expert in projects affecting core medical indemnity products;
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in insurance or a related field in a technical role such as underwriting, broking, product, or legal;
  • Success in writing and maintaining claims-made policies;
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills;
  • Demonstrated understanding of a compliance environment within the insurance field;
  • Ability to develop business cases supporting new product concepts incorporating customer perspective;
  • Ability to present complex matters to non-technical audiences;
  • Strong reporting skills with high attention to detail;
  • Strong problem-solving skills, innovative design thinking, and drive to succeed;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
