About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Advisor to join our Policy, Planning and Investment branch. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our project managers, driving the effective delivery of non-ICT projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Strategy Development: Develop and implement learning and development pathways for project managers, including training and communication materials.
- Manage Consultant Engagements: Manage our Standing Offering Agreement for engaging project management capability consultants for course delivery.
- Develop Project Management Methodology: Lead the development and continuous improvement of our project management methodology, including policy, procedures, and templates.
- Research and Reporting: Research, prepare, and deliver submissions, presentations, and reports on best practice project management practices and processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop statewide networks with project managers, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to inform our project management methodology and training course development.
Requirements:
- Passion for Capability Uplift: Demonstrate a passion for capability uplift of people through learning and development, with experience or qualifications in Vocational and Education Training sector.
- Project Management Experience: Have project management experience or qualifications, or the ability to develop knowledge of best practice approaches to project management methodologies.
- Effective Communication: Ability to effectively liaise with a variety of stakeholders, including technical subject matter experts, to achieve common goals.
- Strong Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills with the demonstrated ability to present in public forums on complex technical topics.
