Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled communications expert to shape and deliver communication strategies that enhance our reputation, strengthen community engagement, and support organisational priorities.

This pivotal role will involve developing and implementing campaigns and initiatives that align with organisational goals, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to design and deliver targeted campaigns, manage media relations, and take responsibility for our digital presence - including oversight of the website and social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Driving integrated communication and engagement strategies
  • Providing informed strategic advice and practical support to strengthen our communications and community profile
  • Enhancing visibility through targeted media campaigns and proactive media engagement
  • Monitoring digital performance and adapting strategies to meet community expectations
  • Supporting community events, key initiatives, and crisis communication when required

About This Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated communications professional with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Journalism, or related field (or significant experience)
  • Strong expertise in strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, and media relations
  • Proven ability to deliver impactful messaging across digital and traditional platforms
  • The ability to manage communication challenges in high-pressure situations
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment
