This RoleThe Capital Markets Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping PayJoy's funding strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive growth and expansion. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing funding strategies to support PayJoy's loan book in Latin America and new markets in Africa and Asia.
- Managing a network of lenders, including institutional and private investors, to optimize facility operations and reporting.
- Structuring new capital market relationships, ensuring compliance with existing facilities, and evaluating changing business needs.
- Overseeing PayJoy Asset Fund (PJAF) operations, including fund administration, audit processes, investor reporting, and relations.
- Collaborating with risk teams to analyze portfolio performance and build analytical models for product, country, and capital structure decisions.
- Preparing marketing materials and presentations to support business growth, including equity raises and investor relations.
- 3+ years of experience in capital markets, finance, or investment banking, with a focus on structured finance.
- Knowledge of consumer lending products and the fintech landscape.
- Strong analytical, modeling, and communication skills, with the ability to work across multiple geographies and projects.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office and SQL skills a plus.
- Spanish language proficiency a plus.
