Cyber Security Solutions Engineer

This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities.

Job Overview

The Cyber Security Solutions Engineer role involves working closely with the sales team to provide recommendations on appropriate security solutions to meet customer cyber security needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the sales team to identify customer cyber security needs and provide recommendations on suitable security solutions.
  • Provide insight and advice to potential and existing customers based on industry best practices, applying skills and knowledge in the industry to drive optimal outcomes.
  • Lead technical engagement, addressing technical questions, providing consultative advice, and managing key tasks such as Proof-of-Value and Cyber Workshops.
  • Support responses to RFI's & RFP's with relevant bid teams.
  • Engage and support the enablement of key partners and customers on the latest Cyber Security Technologies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering and pre-sales experience.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Have a good understanding of typical customer architecture and cyber needs.
  • Exposure to network, cloud, and End Point security is advantageous.
  • Bring a customer-first mindset and experience in working with large to medium enterprise organizations.
  • Ability to create an end-to-end security solution for a customer's environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Relevant certifications highly preferred, e.g. CCNP / CISSP/ CCSA / CCSE.
  • Existing right to work in Australia.
