Job Title:

Electron Microscopy Specialist

This role is responsible for providing training to researchers on the operation of Transmission Electron Microscopes (TEM) and associated sample preparation techniques, ensuring both safety and user competency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train users on TEM operation and maintenance
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation
  • Coordinate equipment servicing and maintenance
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in electron microscopy and laboratory operations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and health and safety compliance
Benefits:

This is a full-time continuing position with salary HEW 6 + 17% Superannuation and flexible working arrangements. The role is based at the Melbourne CBD campus but may require work or presence at other campuses.
