We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our Suicide Prevention team in Rockhampton, QLD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and supervising a team of coordinators and peer workers to deliver the services of Warmline and TRISP programs.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in community sector management, community services, or social services, with experience in a supervisory role leading and coaching teams to deliver high-performance and quality client outcomes.
You will be responsible for building relationships with stakeholders, overseeing service governance, and collaborating with Mental Health, Alcohol, and Other Drug, and Suicide Prevention consortia to ensure seamless support for vulnerable populations.
The role includes managing participant intake, risk management, critical incidents, and ensuring regular service evaluation and reporting to meet objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of coordinators and peer workers to deliver high-quality services
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including community organizations and government agencies
- Oversee service governance, including risk management and critical incident response
- Collaborate with Mental Health, Alcohol, and Other Drug, and Suicide Prevention consortia to ensure seamless support for vulnerable populations
- Manage participant intake, risk management, and service evaluation and reporting
- Relevant degree with appropriate experience, or Associate Diploma, in the field of study in community sector management, community services, social services, or social welfare
- Experience in a supervisory role, leading and coaching teams in a formal capacity to deliver high-performance and quality client outcomes
- Right to work within Australia
- Current valid Driver's Licence and the ability to undertake some travel
