IT Operations Analyst – Performance Monitoring Specialist

Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled IT Operations Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT Operations & Services department, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our systems to ensure maximum uptime and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong customer service focus, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities- Monitoring and Maintenance: Provide 24x7 enterprise monitoring across our properties and key business systems, applications, and services to ensure maximum uptime.
- Support and Guidance: Offer 24x7 support to both internal and external clients, providing first and second-level support and guidance to resolve incidents at first contact.
- System Checks and Daily Tasks: Complete all system checks/duties and oversee the execution of all Operational Daily Tasks.
- Change Requests: Successfully perform planned/scheduled tasks as part of change requests, including monthly patching of servers, stopping/starting of services, and troubleshooting.
- Experience: Minimum one year experience supporting desktop & server environments, with demonstrated experience in support of high-performing and highly available systems desired.
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong general judgment and action orientation, coupled with strong problem-solving skills in a complex IT environment, and experience writing technical documentation.
- Customer Service Focus: Strong customer service focus with a realistic viewpoint on timeframes and limitations of the environment.

Estimated Salary: AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
