Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team at our Enfield site. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out daily servicing, repairs, and maintenance of plant and equipment as scheduled and planned by the Maintenance Planner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out daily servicing, repairs, and maintenance of plant and equipment in accordance with scheduled and planned tasks.
  • Using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to record history, book hours, spares usage, and close out work orders.
  • Participating in plant improvements and projects.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment by having a proactive safety attitude, applying awareness, risk assessment practices, and following company processes such as LOTO, permits, etc.
  • Carrying out planned maintenance as scheduled by the Site Maintenance Planner using sound engineering practices and experience gained in a manufacturing facility.
  • Working collaboratively with other team members as required, particularly when the work requires two people, fabrication (hot work), or heavy-duty mechanical skills.
Requirements
  • Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Mechanical Fitter & Turner)
  • Restricted Electrical licence (desirable)
  • Experience in FMCG or manufacturing, and maintaining Feed Milling/Flour Milling equipment (preferred)
  • Experience using CMMS
  • Strong communication skills with an all-inclusive approach to dealing with peers and operations personnel at all levels in the business

Estimated salary range: AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum.
