Accounts Administrator Position for Electrical Business

We are an Australian family-owned electrical business seeking a skilled and organized Accounts Administrator to support our day-to-day operations. As an essential member of our team, you will be responsible for various accounting and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll and manage Superannuation for employees, ensuring timely payments and compliance.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, maintaining accurate records and making timely payments or invoicing as required.
- Create, manage, and send customer quotes and invoices using your proficiency in MYOB.
- Enter data accurately into MYOB, maintaining up-to-date financial records.
- Handle bank transactions and process reimbursements efficiently.
- Support the accountant with EOFY preparation, BAS, and PAYG calculations.
- Liaise with clients regarding outstanding payments and maintain regular debt management.
- Provide general accounts reporting to offer insights into the business's financial health.
The ideal candidate has experience in accounting, preferably in a small business or trades-related environment, with strong skills in MYOB and data entry. You should possess excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively within a close-knit team. A proactive attitude and ability to take ownership of your work are also essential.
