Job Summary

The NSW Government is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality person-centered nursing care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, utilizing their problem-solving skills and multidisciplinary team approach to plan, deliver, and coordinate patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide person-centered nursing care to patients in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses.
  2. Coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care through effective communication, technology use, and interpersonal skills.
  3. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient-centered outcomes.
  4. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
  5. Adhere to NSW Health policy directives and legislation.

Requirements
  1. Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
  2. Demonstrated recent clinical experience in emergency, critical care, or relevant acute hospital settings.
  3. Ability to work a 24-hour/seven-day rotating roster, including public holidays.
