About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Capital Planning Expert to join our team at Bank of Queensland. As a key member of our Capital Management function, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial landscape.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality capital forecasts and management analysis, as well as maintaining and improving our forecast model.
  • Contributing to capital optimisation initiatives, providing expert advice on capital implications of business activities, and conducting subject matter reviews of capital reporting.

You will work closely with our stakeholders to develop and maintain effective relationships, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across the organisation.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Strong knowledge of capital management best practices and APRA prudential standards.
  • Relevant banking capital management experience, preferably within treasury, a big four bank, or a consulting firm.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Actuarial Science, or Accounting, with postgraduate qualifications being desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with a strong attention to detail.
