Our organization is seeking a skilled HR professional to fill the role of Complex Case Manager.

This position involves managing and investigating complex cases, interpreting legislation and policy, and providing advice to senior executives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Conduct, Performance and Reviews team to ensure that all cases are handled in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and investigate complex cases, including preliminary and formal investigations of suspected breaches of the APS Code of Conduct
  • Interpret and apply relevant legislation, policy, and best practice guidelines
  • Provide strategic advice to senior executives on case handling strategies and risks
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, including union representatives and managers
  • Contribute to the development of contemporary and best practice HR policies and processes

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders
  • Experience in managing complex cases and interpreting legislation and policy
