Accounting Specialist Role

Our organization seeks an accomplished accounting specialist to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting for APAC entities.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts under US-GAAP, encompassing month-end journals, variance analysis and commentary, as well as reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate reporting to corporate deadlines.
  • Performing weekly bank reconciliations for multiple entities.
  • Collaborating with Accounting Operations teams to validate inputs and ensure data integrity.
  • Coordinating the submission of VAT returns.
  • Managing local statistic surveys.
  • Coordinating internal and external audit processes.
  • Preparing annual financial statements and filing.
  • Supporting local tax audits and assisting the APAC Tax team on producing tax packages.
  • Supporting monthly cash flow forecasts.

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • A CPA or CA qualification.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in a full-function accounting role, preferably within a multinational environment.
  • Experience in the technology sector and/or other high-growth industries is advantageous.
  • The ability to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A strong work ethic with proven analytical skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated and self-driven professionals with a collaborative approach are preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with Net Suite ERP and the Blackline reconciliation system is advantageous.
