About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Roads & Highways Leader to join our team in Victoria, Australia. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished leader to manage and deliver iconic Australian projects, shape and grow the roads group, and embed technical excellence within our wider transport team.

This position requires a strong background in highway projects, with experience working on Victorian roads and highways, and established relationships with relevant governmental agencies and contracting clients. As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for leading our Victorian Roads & Highways team, providing strategic leadership and technical guidance, managing multi-disciplinary project teams, building client relationships, and developing and mentoring less experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership across our Victorian Roads & Highways team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth targets.
  • Lead technical excellence initiatives, driving expected client outcomes for road and highway projects through innovative solutions and best practices.
  • Manage large and complex projects from inception to completion, overseeing budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • BUILD ON CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS TO CONTINUE OUR STRONG PIPELINE OF OPPORTUNITIES.
  • Develop and mentor less experienced team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and skill development.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized degree in Civil Engineering, with a strong understanding of transportation infrastructure.
  • Significant experience working on Victorian roads and highways projects, with a proven track record of delivering high-profile projects.
  • Established relationships with relevant governmental agencies and contracting clients.
  • Strong technical expertise, with the ability to provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • RPEV certification or willingness to obtain it.

Compensation Package

The compensation package for this role includes:
