We're on the hunt for a Digital Content Manager who lives and breathes digital storytelling. Someone who knows how to grow audiences, spark conversations, and build meaningful connections through compelling content and smart strategy.

About the Role

This full-time leadership role will see you take the reins of the Club's digital ecosystem—from strategy to execution. You'll collaborate across departments to drive innovation and lead a team of creatives who bring the SUNS to life across our platforms.

You'll be responsible for growing our digital footprint, exploring new markets, and keeping us ahead of the curve in a constantly evolving space. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing a digital content strategy with a sharp focus on expanding into new audiences and markets.
  • Driving digital storytelling that elevates our brand beyond the boundary line.
  • Using data and insights to spark content innovation across web, app, and social channels.
  • Managing and commercialising Club digital assets in collaboration with the Commercial team.
  • Maintaining and evolving our website, social platforms, and digital infrastructure.
  • Leading internal content projects and delivering digital solutions across departments.
  • Overseeing content planning, production workflows, and brand consistency.
  • Mentoring a team of digital creatives—including designers and producers—to help them grow, thrive, and deliver their best work.

Who You Are

You're a digital all-rounder with a knack for leading people, crafting strategy, and telling stories that make people stop scrolling. You understand the AFL landscape, live for the challenge of rapid content delivery, and bring a balance of creativity and commercial smarts.

You'll bring experience in a similar digital leadership role, proven ability to grow and engage audiences, passion for storytelling, and a collaborative spirit. As well as a hunger to stay ahead of trends, try new things, and push boundaries.
