About This Role

The Development Assessment Planner plays a pivotal role in our organization, responsible for delivering high-quality development assessment services and specialist advice.

This team facilitates quality, compliant, and sustainable development across the area, including urban renewal activity centers, future growth areas, and environmentally sensitive areas.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning or equivalent
  • Current drivers license
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Environmental Planning, Assessment Act 1979, and Regulations
  • Sound experience in Land and Environment Court procedures
  • Experience in complex development assessments within Local Government
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the community and industry professionals
