Sales Director - Superannuation

This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with key industry contacts, ensuring a deep understanding of our prospects' business strategies, products, and requirements. You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities, nurturing leads, and collaborating with marketing teams to execute targeted campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop personal relationships with key and senior industry contacts.
  • Ensure a detailed understanding of our prospects' business, products, strategy, requirements, and understand the impact on SS&C's service offering.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs, to effectively position SS&C in the market.
  • Solicit and maintain a network of prospects and nurture contacts to help develop the sales pipeline, collaborating with marketing to execute campaigns.
  • Achieve Year on Year Growth and individuals/team sales targets through understanding the financial drivers of stakeholders.
  • Lead new business proposal processes through a deep understanding of SS&C's products, services, and technologies and how these can add value to a client's and/or prospect's business.
  • Act as the senior point of contact for new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a high degree of autonomy.
  • Knowledge of Financial Services regulatory environment especially superannuation.
  • Capable of developing and implementing long-term strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Solid understanding of operating models, business strategy, structure, and product offering.
  • Strong people skills with the ability to position complex technology and service solutions.
  • Proven sales capability – hitting goals and growing pipeline.
  • Sales methodology experience desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Good verbal reasoning and numerical skills.
